Mt Crescent
Mt. Crescent provides the Midwest with a variety of slopes to fascinate new skiers and challenge the experienced. There are runs up to 2,000 feet in length with a vertical drop of 300 feet, all of which can be covered with two to three feet of fine, well packed snow by the latest snow making equipment. Sundown Mountain
Sundown Mountain opened in 1973 and has focused on preserving the natural winter beauty of the mountain, and on snowmaking and grooming to provide the best possible ski conditions. The founding skiers are on the slopes every day all winter long to see that the beauty and snow conditions are the best they can be. In 1989 the National Ski Area Association awarded Sundown the Award of Excellence. No other Midwest ski area has received this award. Sundown is a Mountain of fun and excitement.
